Andres O'Connell is an associate attorney with Anderson & Quinn, LLC. He began working for the firm in the fall of 2002, and since that time has worked on a diverse collection of civil litigation matters, including cases arising out of business property damage, insurance coverage disputes and the defense of toxic torts.
Born in Sao Paolo, Brazil to a Colombian mother and an Irish-American father, Mr. O'Connell and his family moved to the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area in 1975. Following the completion of his secondary education in Maryland, Mr. O'Connell received his B.A., cum laude, in Political Science from Gettysburg College in 1997. He then earned his law degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law in May of 2001, and, in August of 2001, he began serving a one-year term as a judicial clerk for the Honorable John H. Bayly, Jr., of the District of Columbia Superior Court. Mr. O'Connell has been admitted to practice law in the State of Maryland since November of 2001, and in the District of Columbia since August 2004.
