John Rego is one of two managing members of Anderson & Quinn, LLC. He has been with the firm since graduating from the Columbus School of Law of the Catholic University of America in 1988. Mr. Rego is responsible for the management and trial of a wide array of civil litigation matters, with emphasis on cases involving products liability, business torts, commercial litigation, construction law, and insurance coverage. Mr. Rego also performs appellate work in matters arising out of cases that he and other members of the firm have tried.
A native of Providence, Rhode Island, Mr. Rego received his undergraduate degree in Economics from Boston College in Boston, Massachusetts in 1985. After receiving his J.D. from Catholic University, Mr. Rego was admitted to the bars in Maryland and the District of Columbia and is also admitted to practice in the Federal Courts in both jurisdictions. He is likewise admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Mr. Rego is a member of the Maryland State and Montgomery County Bar Associations, the District of Columbia Bar and holds a membership on the Committee on Judicial Appointments for the Maryland State Bar Association. This Committee is responsible for interviewing and recommending candidates for judgeships in the State of Maryland.
Mr. Rego has tried numerous cases throughout Maryland and the District of Columbia and regularly appears in Court in these jurisdictions. In recognition of his efforts on behalf of his clients by his peers and judges before whom he practices, Mr. Rego has earned Martindale-Hubbell’s highest AV rating.
