Gustavo Matheus

Gustavo Matheus represents providers of healthcare services in various areas relating to reimbursement and claims denials, managed care, Medicare and Medicaid, network participation and credentialing, revenue cycle and medical records and privacy. His clients range from single clinician practices, multi-physician groups, allied healthcare practitioners, nursing home facilities and hospital systems.

Originally from Venezuela, Mr. Matheus grew up in the Washington, DC area, graduating from University of Maryland Baltimore County with a degree in biological sciences, and later earning a J.D. from The University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, California.

In 2016, Mr. Matheus joined Anderson & Quinn, LLC as a member, expanding the scope of legal services rendered to healthcare provider clients. He is admitted to the bars in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. He is also admitted to practice in the Federal District Court for Maryland and is a member of the United States Supreme Court.

Mr. Matheus is active in his law school alumni association, and is a former member of the McGeorge School of Law Alumni Board of Directors. He enjoys teaching health law topics to students at undergraduate institutions, law schools and in medical school settings. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Bowie Health Center Foundation.
