Deborah Horan joined Anderson & Quinn, LLC as the health law practice manager in October of 2017.
Raised in Gaithersburg, Ms. Horan has spent most of her life as a resident of Montgomery County, Maryland. After graduating from Sandy Spring Friends School, Ms. Horan went on to receive a B.A. in psychology from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. After college, she left the area to live and work in France for several years. Ms. Horan returned to Maryland to attend graduate school for the study of international communication, international education and conflict resolution at American University in Washington D.C., earning a master’s degree with honors, and co-authoring the curriculum used for the first peer mediation program in Washington D.C. junior high schools.
After working in the field of international education, and drawn to the study of law, Ms. Horan accepted a position at the Georgetown University Law Library. While working at the law library, Ms. Horan earned her J.D., cum laude, from the Georgetown University Law Center, and was admitted to the bars in Maryland and the District of Columbia. Prior to joining Anderson & Quinn, Ms. Horan worked as a staff attorney at Winston & Strawn’s Washington, D.C. office in the area of litigation support.
